It is benchmarked against the Total Army Force ability to defeat, deny, or deter hybrid, near-peer threats and meet operational demand requirements. In June 2017, it was founded that Army readiness goals and timelines for rebuilding readiness are not clear for all portions of the force, especially for the reserve component. The Army is steadily making progress towards improving the overall force readiness through projects which building upon increasing readiness in proper resources, advanced individual and unit training, and continual training utilizing resources prior to units deploying.
