Apply research evidence to critique an issue in organizational psychology  Please follow the instructions down below and cite research that is recent (2018-now). Identify a news item that is I/O related and has been in the news in leading newspapers or online sources (Australian e.g., https://www.abc.net.au/news/ or International e.g., https://www.nytimes.com/) during 2020 (April 2020-August 2020). * You will need to attach a short copy of the news article indicating the date of publication of the news Come up with a research question and construct an argument providing support for how the news item is related to a topic/s covered in class. Please write the research question in the running heads.  Find empirical research papers published in highly reputed journals covering organizational psychology (e.g., The Leadership Quarterly, Basic Applied Social Psychology, The Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Human Relations, The Journal of Vocational Behaviour). Use these to provide some scientific perspective on the topic you have chosen. This search will be more productive if you do a search using library databases on the topic of interest, rather than just going through issues of the journals. Your report should cover how the topic is related to I/O and specific empirical research. You may wish to organize the assignment using the following headings or subheadings: Introduction to the issue A. Introduction of the topic – (Reader is introduced to the topic, use of supporting literature is apt, the purpose of writing is clear) Relevant I/O psychology literature Rationale well stated (how and why is the issue important?); Relevance to Organisational Psychology literature should be evident through writing and literature review. There should be a critical overview of the importance of the issue with reference to current theory or journal items. • (appropriate relevant to the issue subheadings) • Conclusion It should be clear what your own contribution is as opposed to quotations or references from others. However, your opinions should be backed up and carefully argued. -Provides exceptional and thought-provoking analysis that directly addresses details and/or examples of the main topic. Your news item should be attached to your submitted assignment as an appendix.
