Understand the role and linkage between your state department and your local school district. 3.) For your grade or content area, examine your district’s or state’s current curriculum guide. Select a standard achievement test (perhaps one that you actually administer). Which objectives appearing in the curriculum are adequately measured by the test? Which are not? In your opinion, how adequately is the content covered by the test?
