Health Policy around Affordable Care Act
One paragraph is required: There have been several attempts to repeal and/or replace the Affordable Care Act over the past few years. This week’s resources provided a few of the proposals that have been developed as replacements. Utilizing the Kaiser Family Foundation resource(https://www.kff.org/interactive/proposals-to-replace-the-affordable-care-act/ , select one of those proposals and outline how that proposal would affect provisions established by the ACA. (HINT: The table on this website can be used to compare how reform legislation would impact key provisions of the ACA). How do you think your selected proposal would impact our healthcare system, for better or for worse? Seperate paragraph: Outside of the Affordable Care Act, select a topic that you believe will be a central concern for health policy and/or law going into the future (examples could include the opioid crisis, pharmaceutical pricing, hospital transparency, etc.) Why do you think that your topic is so important?
