Gender Differences in Medical Treatment Identify six males and six females of various ages (e.g., two males and two females who are 20, 40, and 60) Interview them with the following questions: 1. When was the last time you went to a doctor? 2. What did you go for? Sick visit/well visit (prescription refill, referral to a specialist, etc.) 3. How many times in the past year have you been to the doctor? 4. Do you get regular annual physicals? 5. How many prescriptions do you take regularly? 6. Do you get the recommended annual blood work and other exams that are prescribed for your age/gender? 7. When was the last time you went to the dentist? 8. Do you get the recommended semi-annual cleanings at your dentist? 9. When was your last eye exam? 10. Do you wear glasses/contacts? Now put your data into a table that summarizes this information Age Gender Last doctor visit Sick or well Number of annual visits Physical Number of prescriptions Annual tests done Dentist Twice a year Eyes Glasses Write a brief three-page summary of what your results indicate in regards to gender and age in dealing with medical issues.
