Historical Paper Social Problems   Overview   Students will choose one of the events, listed below, and write a minimum of three pages discussing this event and the social problems that are linked to this event/period of time.   ·         U.S. industrialization ·         U.S. Civil War ·         Reconstruction ·         Immigration (late 19th- early 20th centuries) ·         Immigration (late 20th-early 21st centuries) ·         Civil Rights ·         Women’s Suffrage ·         Post WWII/Baby-Boom ·         U.S. Great Depression ·         U.S. Great Recession     Requirements   ü  Assignments must be three full-pages, double spaced, in length ü  Assignments must include at least three references, one reference must be a scholarly reference. ü  References must be cited in the text and in the works cited/references section ü  References must be written in APA or ASA formats. ü  Assignments should be written in an academic format, with an introduction and conclusion. ü  Assignments font should be in Times New Roman, Arial or Calibri size 11 or 12.
