Communication Triangle Analysis Assignment
Communication Triangle Analysis Assignment The concept of the communication triangle is reinforced throughout this program—in particular, understanding the needs of a specific audience. This assignment will demonstrate your ability to analyze your audience in an effort to establish a high degree of common ground throughout your proposal. After you’ve selected an issue for your proposal, and before you write an outline, you will analyze key areas of communication: the issue (stated as a claim), general purpose, intended audience, reader usability, and issue exigency. Your task is to analyze the audience’s needs according to key features, exemplifying how you intend to establish common ground. For this assignment, you should also analyze each area of the proposal: Benefits Reader expectations Cost and materials Sources (existing and still needed) The future, if nothing is done Rhetorical devices You’ll find a sample analysis in Lesson 3.
