Discussion Questions: Due by Wednesday 11:00 pm Discussion Questions: The goal of this discussion is to question what does a “useful” model looks like in an organization context backed up with theory/sources. Based on the readings in the course, and your understandings about the use of models in organizations:    Read through/listen to resources. Identify elements that make a model useful from both a statistical and operational point of view In the discussion board, talk about these useful elements in the analysis of an organizational process.  What is your organizational process? What is the statistical/analytical need (what needs to be measured and potential adjusted) and what is the operational need (what does the process need to do for the organization)? What are some useful analytic elements which may not be useful to the operational side and visa versa? What do you suggest is the appropriate trade-off?  Reply to at least two classmate’s posts with other elements that might be useful to consider in their presented process 2. I will put up the posts for you to respond to once I see a couple of other people put them up.
